Please note that once a notarization or commissioning service has been completed, no refunds are available.All amounts will be refunded if for any reason service is not required or rendered. Notary must compare the physical original to the copy.
Birth certificate, passport, driver’s licence, diplomas.
Ontario law does not yet allow remote notarization under the Notaries Act.
Visa papers, embassy/consulate forms, apostille, notarized contracts.
Strict witnessing laws often require signatories and witnesses to be physically present.
Last Will & Testament, Continuing Power of Attorney, Health Care Directive.
Higher legal formalities require in-person validation.
Testamentary trusts, property transfer trusts.
These involve property/financial rights and must be executed in person.
Cheques, promissory notes, bills of exchange, documents of title.
